Все тайны здания Института морской геологии и геофизики ДВО РАН
(В этом здании будут проходить секционные заседания Конференции)
Здание Института морской геологии и геофизики ДВО РАН расположено в Южно-Сахалинске между двумя планировочными районами. Луговым и Новоалександровском. Оно было спроектировано в 1928 году. Американцами для японцев. А построено в 1932-м. В эпоху губернаторства Карафуто в нем разместилась экспериментальная станция. Она имела сельскохозяйственное направление. Территория станции занимала 15 га. Здесь работали зоологи, энтомологи. Были установлены теплицы.
